Lambert design DNA with Reate build quality and consistency

The Crossroads is a highly sought-after collaboration between Canadian custom knife builder Kirby Lambert and Reate.  Lambert is best known for his incredible custom knives, and Reate is the king of build quality and consistency.  These incredible knives use a 3.54 inch Bohler M390 steel blade with a clip point and great flipper tab (OJ has personally used his Crossroads flipper tab more than any human being should in the first week of ownership).  That tab combines with double row ceramic ball bearings within the 4.72 inch titanium handle (with green G10 inlays) to provide a smooth opening action.  Speaking of the handle, it has a very hand-friendly shape, complete with two finger grooves.  It has a titanium clip that stores the knife in your pocket, tip up, so it is a simple pull and flip motion to go from pocket to cutting.  At 5.29oz it has some heft to remind you its there, but it is light enough that weight will never prevent you from choosing it to carry (Paul described it simply, “it’s a high quality type of heavy, not a burdensome type of heavy.”).  Every member of the EDCaddiction team has “handled” the Crossroads and the consensus is that it a dream in the hand.

Since a custom Lambert is one of the knife world’s most sought-after custom knifes, availability is certainly an issue. Getting a Lambert usually involves attending a show, lining up early, entering a lottery, and hope you get drawn.  So, basically, your chances on a Kirby are not the greatest.  If you know anything about the EDCaddiction crew, you know that we can’t let that be the only way to bring Kirby Lambert into your rotation! So when we were contacted by Reate about the Crossroads, we were in!
