Steel Flame is an amazing jewelry and accessories company and is the creative playground for Derrick Obatake and his team of insanely talented craftspeople. His pieces all echo the Steel Flame's iconic creed: Honor Gratitude Respect. All of the Steel Flame pieces and collectors have this code worked into their DNA! Emerson Knives was founded by Ernest Emerson, who is legendary in the knife world. With designs in service for many of the world's most elite units and more innovations that is fair for one maker, it is safe to say that Emerson Knives are the real deal.
This is a knife clip, with the Crusader Shield etched in a chaos pattern onto the body of the clip. The Crusader Shield is a stylized take on the cross decoration made to the shields of crusaders. This is further enhanced by the chaos etching: which puts the Shield as many times that it will fit onto the clip in whatever pattern it will fit.The piece is completed with the proprietary Vintage Gunmetal finish, which adds another layer of complexity and visual depth. It is mounted using the Emerson-style triple screw hole (3 screws mounted in a subtle V-shape) design. This has also been adopted by the several new guard of future legends like Nottingham Tactical.
This piece was selected by us for its excellent condition, collaboration between two legends, and what the lion symbolizes. It appears to never have been mounted on a knife and we are proud to offer it.
